- ...You must understand.....I am the most uncrafty, unartistic, charter member of the No-Fun-Mom's-Club, type of moms out there. I tried lapbooks when my kids were young, and they were not a hit (well, at least not with me). This year, now that my kids are 13 and can do it themselves, I bought your Artist and Composer Activity-Paks, thinking it might make a nice filler on slow days or during holidays. What a big hit! The best thing for me (besides the learning), is that other than printing everything off, I've not had to do much. Wonderful pick-up-and-go activities that reinforce our history studies! Thanks again for making such great products, - Diane McDaniel
- I really enjoyed this project because all of my kids got involved in some way. While the study was geared mainly for Matthew, my high schooler and little one helped as well. There are a lot of pieces to cut out, so Janna helped by doing that for us. Jonathan loved to color, so he did the bulk of the coloring (though we do have a green, red, and yellow American flag because I did not catch him in time!). This was great for Matthew, who is my least-inclined-to-lapbook child!...The activities were meaningful. This is not always true of lapbook products. This is not just busy work. I found it to provide high-quality learning challenges for us that helped us... - Vera at Vera Christian Mom University blog, Homeschool Crew Review
